Our journey began in Midwest City, Oklahoma, when we sold gumbo dinners to hardworking tech plant employees. The overwhelming success of that night ignited a vision that would stay with us forever. After relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, the concept took shape, and our brand identity was born. Thanks to the artistic talent of Darmane, our signature logo came to life, capturing the heart and soul of what Shrimpee’s represents.
In 2000, we opened our first storefront in College Park, Georgia, where the dream became reality. However, life presented challenges—Mrs. Shrimpee’s, the heart of our kitchen, had to undergo heart surgery. But her resilience and passion brought her back, stronger than ever, committed to making Shrimpee’s a lasting legacy for her family and community.
